Visit to the Museum

We had a lovely trip to the museum to find out more about life in Victorian Times.  First we went into the activity room and we saw different things from the Victorian past. It was great to feel and touch these artefacts first hand.

Then we went around the museum with Linda and she pointed out some special  displays related to Victorian times.  We saw a beautiful handknitted shawl that was made for Queen Victoria.

Pupil Voice

“We enjoyed seeing all the Victorian items like the top hat and chamber pot.”

“I enjoyed feeling all the items as normally you are not allowed to touch them.”

“It was good seeing the models of Shetland in the past.”

“Some of us were shocked at how detailed the models of Shetland were.”
