Adam, Elliot and Anne came into our class with the Climate Change Roadshow. The Scottish Government has placed a legal requirement on local authorities to be net zero by 2045. Adam, Elliot and Anne are raising awareness about climate change and organising a Shetland Climate Festival in September.
We spoke about what we already knew about climate change and we discussed our worries. We thought about our own carbon footprints.
The next step for us is to enter a Climate Change Competition. We have to design a poster, write a poem or story, or create an advert that will promote positive thinking for Climate Change. A book is going to be compiled of winning entries from schools all across Shetland. Some of us even got interviewed today by Adam.
