We experimented to discover which items floated and which sunk.  We discovered that if an object’s density is higher than the density of water, it will sink.. On the flip side, if an object is less dense than water, it will float.  Our next step was to make an aluminium boat from foil that would be able to hold over 50 cubes.  There was all sorts of shapes and most boats could successfully carry the load.
