Rain Cloud in a Jar

We had fun with shaving foam and blue dye.

We have been finding out how clouds are part of the ‘water cycle.’ Water in oceans, lakes and rivers evaporates making water vapour, which rises into the air.  When the vapour hits cold air it turns back into droplets which stick together to form clouds.  Eventually the clouds get so full and the water falls back to the ground as rain.
