Lesson"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In Art p6 have been learning about the process of design.<\/p>\n<p>Pupils were given with the tasks of designing a character pot, which had to have an open mouth; the rest was up to them!<\/p>\n<p>During the first lesson, pupils were introduced to the idea of mind maps to generate different ideas and think through the various options for their pot.\u00a0 The next job was to choose their best idea, draw it out, in detail and think about the colours.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2987\" week we spent sculpting the pots.\u00a0 Pupils learnt how shape clay and join it using the scratching and smudging technique.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone final step was to paint our pots, we spent 2 weeks doing this to ensure the colours were bright and the pots were neatly finished.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone
