Science &#8211; Creative Coding"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><\/div>\n<div>Edinburgh Science Learning, Generation Science provided a great workshop for Primary 5.<\/div>\n<div data-tid=\"messageBodyContainer\">\n<div data-tid=\"messageBodyContent\">\n<div>Creative Coding used\u00a0Marty the Robot to demonstrate\u00a0how robots can be programmed to complete tasks.\u00a0 Marty was Wi-Fi enabled and had nine individually controlled servo motors to make it move and sensors to detect its environment.<\/div>\n<div>Marty used the open-source programming platform called Scratch to control it.<\/div>\n<div>Inside Marty is a microcontroller which is an electric circuit board that performs the same functions as the central processing unit of a computer.\u00a0 Marty has a number of different sensors.\u00a0 He had a distance sensor, tilt sensor and force sensor.<\/div>\n<div>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-1166 gallery-columns-3
