Vision, Values and Aims

We decided to write our own version of the school’s vision, values, and aims. We took what had been written and worked in three groups to think about what it meant and then came up with a list of words to use on our own.

We came together as a class and worked really hard on making our own version. Everyone had an input and we all listened to each other’s suggestions. in the end, we came up with something that everyone agreed with.

Skeld School is a creative school where we like our education and work hard to achieve. The school listens to our suggestions and we work well together as a team. We are good at listening to our teachers and each other. We get outdoors when we can to keep us healthy. We love to come to Skeld School where we learn and have fun.

We also thought about a motto, we did lots of research on what a motto is. Did you know some mottos are in Latin and some in French?

We eventually decided on one that we all liked. We chose it because we felt that it explained what things were like for us in Skeld.

We belong, we believe, we enjoy and achieve

What do you think?

Mr. Renwick was proud of us all as we put so much effort into this. We even picked a motto that he had in his top five.
