Flags with the country on them: intro<\/p>\n

Hi! Today we\u2019ll be looking at flags with their countries shape on it. I think flags are really interesting and enjoyable to learn or memorise! So having shapes on the flag can to remember them. First we\u2019ll look at Cyprus, a tiny, little island next to Greece.<\/p>\n

Cyprus<\/p>\n

The Cypriot flag consists of the shape of Cyprus (in orange) and two olive branches crossed below it (in green.)<\/p>\n

The crossed branches signify unity between the islands 2 communities. The white background also signifies peace.<\/p>\n

Kosovo<\/p>\n

Kosovo has a blue flag with 6 stars above the shape of Kosovo . it was designed by Muhamer Ibranhimi.<\/p>\n

It was adopted in 2008. The flag of Kosovo symbolises the 6 ethnic groups of Kosovo; Albanians, Serbs, Bosnians, Turks, Romani and Gorani.<\/p>\n
