In this special edition of the Radio Saxa Vord Podcast, Emily and Bryden are joined by Mike Mongo from Cape Canaveral, Florida. Mike was in Unst this summer working on the Astronaut Job Camp. We learn more about Mike\u2019s journey to becoming an Astronaut Teacher and what his camp will look like. Mike and Bryden also discuss Mike\u2019s experience in Shetland so far and why it is important for this camp to take place live from Unst.<\/p>\n

Mike also spent 4 days delivering a virtual session with learners from P6- S2 across the whole of Shetland, chatting to them about all things space and<\/strong> <\/em>why he wears his glasses upside down!<\/p>\n

I think there are\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 quite a few children who are keen\u00a0 to see what the holiday\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/em>programme will be’<\/em><\/h5>\n
