We have been learning a science topic this term.<\/p>\n

We have been learning about light and electricity.<\/p>\n

Bodi’s Dad visited us and talked to us about the job of an Electrician. He explained to us how simple electrical circuits work.<\/p>\n

We discovered that in order for a circuit to work it needs a power source, wire and light bulb, motor or buzzer.<\/p>\n

We enjoyed making circuits.\u00a0 Some of us included a switch in the circuit too.<\/p>\n

We also learnt about the\u00a0 Earth and how important the Earths rotation is in causing day, night, years, leap years and seasons.<\/p>\n

We made models of the Earth and demonstrated in groups how this happens.<\/p>\n

We have also been observing the patterns of the moon.<\/p>\n

Later, we learnt about Sound.\u00a0 We made Walkie Talkies to explore how vibrations cause sounds.<\/p>\n
