\"\"Primary 3 are having an excellent start to their year, we’ve begun a new writing program and are working very hard on including different openers into our writing.<\/h6>\n

We’re also learning about Shetland, where it is in the world and about what makes it so special.<\/p>\n

We’ve had a wonderful visit from\u00a0 Lily’s dad Richard, who came in to tell us about Shetland and its wildlife and his job helping with wildlife filming.\"\"<\/p>\n

In maths we are working hard on our number,\u00a0 numbers before and after, larger and smaller and numbers within 1000.\u00a0 We’re also learning about place value and how this can help us to add and subtract easily in\u00a0 10’s, 100’s and beyond.<\/p>\n

The class have also enjoyed Show and Tell, we’ve had a tornado in a bottle and a volcano! We really enjoyed these and loved seeing how the experiments worked. \"\"<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
