Last term we did a speech about getting into the Eco Committee since the other class were doing the JRSO. The eco committee is a community and if you do three tasks off their website you can get a green flag. It took about one week to get all our speeches written and typed up. Later on we got to do practice runs on the speeches with Mrs Hutchison. With our reading group we got to assess each other and write a comment on what we could do better. Then we had to do the real deal! We had to say our speeches to Miss Irvine and Mrs Hutchison. They then thought it was too hard to pick so they split us into two groups. I hope we can get a green flag soon!
In the first term one morning we went to clean up a beach. The grass was a bit wet when we went down to the the beach. We found some stones for symmetrical work. Brooke and Liam found the most litter on the beach. I found a huge piece of green sea glass down on the beach there was also a long string stuck in the stones but I could only get half of it out.
