One aspect we looked at was Victorian street cries. We worked together to work out the rhythms of five different street cries and then in small groups, we composed a melody to go with the words.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" group performed their street cry melody on a glockenspiel and this is how our melodies look using standard notation. We can now play each others compositions.
