This term we have been learning about music in the Victorian era in connection to our class project. One aspect we looked at was Victorian street cries. We worked together to work out the rhythms of five different street cries and then in small groups, we composed a melody to go with the words.

Each group performed their street cry melody on a glockenspiel and this is how our melodies look using standard notation. We can now play each others compositions. We are composers!
