Jennifer Thomson from Active Schools has been in school training our class how to be Play Leaders.<\/p>\n

Play Leaders are a group of caring children who have been trained to organise activities for other children in the playground.<\/p>\n

We have been learning about PACE:<\/p>\n

P – is for people: who will be playing and how can we organise them into fair teams?<\/p>\n

A – is for area or space; where will we be playing?<\/p>\n

C – is for communication: the importance of explaining rules clearly .<\/p>\n

E – is for equipment. What, if any, equipment do we need to play?<\/p>\n

I would say we have some great play leaders in training!<\/p>\n
