P5/6 all dressed up as book characters for World Book Day! We had a fun day celebrating reading and our favourite stories.

We made dioramas and used these to discuss the importance of setting in stories. We then added some character puppets to our dioramas! We made setting and character descriptions then finally we wrote scripts to go along with our dioramas and characters.

We also made our own bookshop to practice sticking to a budget for maths and watched the World Book Day BBC Live Lesson – what a busy day!
