Class Charter

So all the grown –ups that are on the blog need to read this! Everyone in the class helped make the   class charter .We used our meta skills, collaborating and creativity. First we decided to make a rainbow with gold coins and a pot. Second we painted the rainbow red , orange, yellow, green, light blue , dark blue and purple. Third we wrote some of the UNCRC. Forth we all signed coins then put them up. So in the end everyone helped.

Scotland Project

What we liked about the Scotland Topic.

We liked doing the Tartan patterns with Mrs Sinclair at Art where we had to weave to make our own tartan patterns and name them after your sir name.

We also liked doing the landscapes where we had to name the different types of place. (e.g. mountains, hills & glens.)

We liked doing the animals in different places and where they all live list where we had to list and look up where they all lived and then we had to wright it down on your own list.(We all liked it.)

We made Zentangle patterns with blank maps of Scotland (to make a zentangle you need all the following items)

A Ruler, a piece of Paper, a Pencil/Pen and a pair of Scissors.

We liked the Highland Cow pictures with Mrs Sinclair at Art where we drew Highland Cows and got them on the wall outside the classroom.

Its really fun and calm.  We use chalk and its really colourful chalk. We have colourful spelling.   We normaly  have partners and  we get a list and then we wright it on the ground. It’s really interesting to find out what they mean. Spelling is fun when we go outside.

Art Lesson

In Art we have been exploring TEXTURE.

We started by experimenting and exploring different materials including, wool and watercolors to try to create the texture of a highland cow.

Everyone really had fun exploring and learning about what materials do and do not work well together.

Following this we created a final image of a Highland cow and I was really impressed with how different they all were, well done P4
