This week we have been looking at listening and hearing. The class have made individual musical instruments and yesterday we took part in a musical painting activity to Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. It was really interesting as the children could talk about which instruments were in their paintings and whether the music was fast, slow, loud or quiet. Some of the children chose to paint with their eyes closed and ‘feel’ the music.
