On Friday 28th April we were visited by the Glasgow Science Festival. It was great fun. We learned all about how food travels through\u00a0 the body. First we had to decide which foods were healthy and which should be used as a treat. Then we watched how the food traveled through the body by watching the footage from a special internal camera. We watched a demonstration of what happens to food when it is in the stomach. It was both disgusting and hilarious!<\/p>\n

There were lots of exhibits to try out – a strength test, a balancing board and a thermal imaging camera. We could also look at x-rays, put muscles in an arm and leg, look at our skin up close and listen to breathing. It was great fun!<\/p>\n
