This afternoon the class learned about the famous artist Kandinsky. They learned that he was from Russian and enjoyed painting abstract pictures while he listened to music. As part of our shape topic, we were interested in his work and looked at which shapes he used. We also talked about what we liked and didn’t like about his work and how his work made us feel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We were intersted in his squares with concentric circles. <\/span><\/p>\n

P1 cut out circles and glued them on top of each other. They had to use cutting skills and ordering skills for this.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

P2 drew around circular objects and then cut them out.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You will see soon what all of the circles helped to create!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
