On Wednesday 17th May P1\/2 went on a trip to Lerwick. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

First we went to Mareel to watch a show called ‘Night Light’. \u00a0It was a fantastic show which made us use our imagination. \u00a0Tegan described the show as “magical”. \u00a0Holly says “the show was about a curious little girl who wanted to see the moon and wanted to know what happened at night time.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Next, we walked over to the Shetland Museum and had our snack on the steps outside the boat shed. \u00a0We then went on the ‘highlights’ tour at the Museum with Yvonne and Kirsty. \u00a0Everyone enjoyed their time at the museum, especially seeing the treasure and the huge turtle!<\/span><\/p>\n

Afterwards we walked to the King Harold Street play park for lunch and a play. \u00a0After a while, we went to the flower park where everyone enjoyed looking at the different colours, patterens, shapes and smells of plants and floweres. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our last stop was at the Shetland Library where Morag read us a story called “Puffin Peter” then we had the chance to explore the library and have a read of some books. \u00a0The librarians helped us to take out books on our own accounts so we could take them home to borrow. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A great day was had by all and we are so glad the sun was shining!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
