Today everyone from Hamnavoe Primary School went to the Pink Hall in Hamnavoe to take part in a carol service. We sang lots of carols, listened to the Christmas nativity story in French and English, heard a New Year song in Mandarin and we had some musical performances from girls in P6/7.
Everyone has been thinking about others at Christmas time who are less fortunate than us. We have been thinking about the children in Aleppo. P3/4/5 organised a stall in the hall where people could buy Christmas cards and marshmallow snowmen and could make a donation to Save the Children. £350 has been raised and will be donated to Save the Children charity. We hope that the money will bring some joy to others who are less fortunate than us at Christmas time. Thanks to everyone who made a donation.
