Today Hamnavoe Primary School celebrated Roald Dahl’s 100th Birthday.  Staff and pupils dressed up as Dahl’s characters and had a great day taking part in lots of activities.  Everyone designed a sweetie in Willy Wonka’s factory, made dream catchers with the BFG, took part in experiments and messy play with George’s Grandma and also created marvellous medicines and art work with Ms Burr.  

The winners of ‘design a birthday cake for Roald Dahl’ were Alfie Reid and Lois Smith.

The winners of the fancy dress competition were Willam Anderson, Stan Smith and David MacDonald.
