Hello, I wanted to share a few photos of what we’ve been up to during our final week before the October holidays!
We enjoyed getting creative outdoors with Aimee, making our very own witchy autumn wands after reading Room on the Broom. We had lots of fun exploring the outdoors and using natural materials to bring our ideas to life.
Today, we got creative in art and made our very own witchy cats! We cut out a template, chose an autumn colour and had fun ripping paper to make a black cat! Can’t wait to get the display up of all our Autumn crafts.
We also visited our science teacher, Mrs Gear, and learned all about POO! We discovered some fascinating facts and had lots of questions along the way!
In music with Mrs Pottinger, we’ve been doing lots of singing, moving and dancing. We’ve also been learning about note lengths and practising keeping the beat using untuned percussion instruments.
We’ve enjoyed getting hands-on with some colourful spaghetti play, too! This gave us the chance to explore different colours and textures while having fun together.
It’s been a busy final week full of learning, exploring, creating and playing! I hope you enjoy looking through our photos.

The last photo just had to be captured as we spotted a rainbow outside and rushed out to get a picture underneath it!
Have a lovely October holiday, and I look forward to welcoming all your bairns back, refreshed and ready for another term of learning and fun!
