Mairianne’s topic this term is France. Her topic homework over the last two weeks was to prepare a presentation for the class in which she would take the other pupils on a tour of France. Our lovely tour guide Mairianne started the tour in Paris where we visited the Eiffel Tower, learning lots of interesting facts, then we were off to the Catherdral of Notre Dame. Mairianne told us all about the very famous French Designer Coco Chanel. The class were surprised to hear that frogs legs are a French delicacy, they much preferred hearing about all the different kinds of French cheese and bread! It was very interesting to hear about French farming, the boys and girls didn’t\u00a0realise what a huge industry it is in France. The tour ended with a few funny pictures of Mr Bean on holiday in France which made us all laugh. Well done Mairianne, you were an amazing tour guide.
