Week 5 and 6

Week 5 and 6 have been busy.

Well, we have done lots of different things this last few weeks.

We have had fun playing board games and the older children supported the younger ones in play. There was lots of giggles during the Headbandz game.

We all played ‘What’s the time Mr Wolf’, everyone had fun and I’m sure they heard us up in Unst with all the giggles and screams that day.

Some super chalk pictures were drawn on the path outside and I love the tractor drawing. Isn’t it brilliant?

We have also been doing some autumn crafts and the children are doing this over the course of the next few weeks.

Week 4 at NOOSC

What a busy week we have a had…

Hello, Noosc has been really busy this week. The children have done lots of fun things.

We played with Playdoh and want to make our own to take home.

We practiced making a sensory bottle, it worked a bit but we need to add glycerin in to make the glitter float better. If everyone brings in a bottle, we can make our own sensory bottles here at NOOSC.

We had fun chasing bubbles around the garden and have a Pogo stick master with a GRAND SCORE of 63 on it so far. AMAZING!!

We had fun playing in the forest while we looked for leaves. We plan to make an Autumn poster to display in NOOSC and some of the children want to try leaf printing with paint. We found lots of lovely leaves.

We have had some imaginary pony play in the garden with a pony assault course made by the children too, lots of NEIGHING was going on and it was lovely to hear the ideas they all had.

A peerie mootie slug was also found and taken home to be looked after. I think it will be set free after a few nights.

The children also had fun with air drying clay, they made many different things with this and had lots of fun.

We finished the week with a movie since it was wet outside.

Have a wonderful, relaxing weekend and see you all next week.

HELLO AND WELCOME BACK TO NOOSC

Can you believe it is the end of week 3 already! I think this last 3 weeks have flown in.

We have welcomed some new starts this term, they have settled in and have got to know staff and regular bairns.  We have also said goodbye to some who have moved on to S1 and we wish them all the very best in their next chapter.

We have just stayed around NOOSC this last few weeks. This has allowed our New Starts to settle in and get a feel for the place. We have played inside and outside. We have made pizza, ate Croissants, cinnamon swirls, pasta, smoked sausage and many other things this last few weeks.

Now that we are under way again, we will post weekly to update everyone on how busy we have been here at NOOSC.

Have a lovely weekend everyone 🙂
