Our Location

Mossbank Primary School is situated 28 miles north of Lerwick, serving the communities of Mossbank, Firth and Toft

We operate two composite classes, P1-4 in the lower primary and P4-7 in the upper primary.

We have weekly visits for specialist subjects such as Art, Music and PE.

Our learning support department is led by the Head Teacher, supported by two full time Learning Support Workers and two Learning Support Assistants. Our children are also supported by the ASN outreach team, SALT, Dental Services, Health Improvement Team and a raft of other agencies.

Our Early Learning and Childcare Setting and Daycare department is led by the Head Teacher. We provide care for children ages 2-5 years, from 8.15am – 4.15pm, term time. This includes a funded ELC session for registered children. Many children in our Early Learning and Childcare Department are supported by the Pre-School Home Visiting Service.
