Awesome Award – First ever!
We have a brand new, exciting certificate which will be given each Friday to an individual, group or class. Staff are looking for children who go over and beyond their day-to-day activities and show they are working towards being successful learners, responsible citizens, effective contributors and confident individuals.
The Early Years was a group effort in cleaning at the beach. In P1-3, Elsie was recognised for being so helpful to her teacher and her peers. Joey from P4-7 was spotted being extra helpful to the younger ones by helping them get their shoes on. Each week the Lunnasting Call-out Awesome Award will be posted in the class blogs, so keep an eye on it!
Children In Need
We have had an amazing day today for Children In Need. We had a spotty themed carousel with biscuit decorating, spotty hunt, Pudsey 3D drawing and Pudsey target throwing. In the afternoon, we had a Children In Need disco. Well done to all children for being so enthusiastic. We had people dressed in spots, pyjamas and onesies. Our final fundraising total is a fantastic £78!
