There was lots of fun in the sun today on the new playground equipment. Thank you to the Parent Council and the Garden Gang for all their help in fundraising for and installation of, this super addition to our grounds.

We have made the most of the lovely days this week and had lots of outdoor learning. We also went to the playpark for our Friday Fun. It’s a super opportunity for all children to mix. Well done to our Lunnasting Call-outs this week!

Welcome back to the first week of the school term. It has been so lovely to see everyone back in the school after so long! We have recommenced our daily mile and got used to our new classes. Well done everyone on such a super start!

Happy Summer holidays everyone! We enjoyed the Lunnasting Cinema, followed by Margaret’s amazing picnic lunch (indoors due to our Shetland Summer!) then a disco to celebrate the end of term. Goodbye to our super Primary 7s! We’ll miss you!

We had a fantastic day out on Friday. We all stopped at the Sandwick play park for snack and a play. Early Years – P3 went to the Croft House Museum and P4 –  7 went to the Quendale Mill. There was lots of learning and super questions. Well done Lunnasting!

After their packed lunches, P4 – 7 had a quick trip to Quendale Beach. The sun shone for us and we made lots of memories. There were lots of tired bairns at 3pm!
