Developmental overviews are snapshots that help practitioners<br \/>\nunderstand a child\u2019s current stage of development and to plan appropriate next steps. The Developmental Overviews are split across 7 key areas of development as follows:<\/p>\n<p>The columns are:<br \/>\n\u2022 Movement<br \/>\n\u2022 Co-ordination<br \/>\n\u2022 Routines<br \/>\n\u2022 Social and Emotional<br \/>\n\u2022 Play and Imagination<br \/>\n\u2022 Understanding Language<br \/>\n\u2022 Using Language<\/p>\n<p>Child development is a unique process, with each child progressing at their own pace.
