It&#8217;s about focusing on what&#8217;s good in our lives and being\u00a0<strong>thankful<\/strong>\u00a0for the things we have.\u00a0<strong>Gratitude<\/strong> is pausing to notice and appreciate the things that we often take for granted, like having a place to live, food, clean water, friends, family, even computer access. It has been scientifically proven that people who have a regular gratitude practice are happier &#8211; do some research online and prepare to be amazed at the health benefits and happiness levels of people who actively practice gratitude!<\/p>\n<p>We can express gratitude in several ways\u2026<\/p>\n<p>We can say <strong>\u2018thank you\u2019<\/strong> \u2013 a simple acknowledge<span data-contrast=\"auto\">ment for<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0what someone has done for you. It makes the person feel appreciated and that in turn, makes you feel good too!<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>We can talk about gratitude \u2013 For example, at dinner time we can go around the family and say, <strong>\u2018today I am grateful for\u2026\u2019<\/strong> this is a fun activity for everyone to join in and will reveal some surprises too!
