We have been studying another Pie Corbet story – Dragonory, similar to the 3 Billy Goats Gruff, it tells the tale of a plucky protagonist outwitting a grumpy Dragon.
These movie sets will be used as part of our stop animation depiction of the Dragonory Story.
We have been using Magformers to create everything from houses to helicopters. The boys even made a working robot!
During the past two weeks we have been looking at story telling and focusing on Jack Foretells the Future where a young man appears to tell the future of a hapless farmer. We are making the story our own by creating a puppet show for the whole class based on what we’ve been learning. Others have been using the story as inspiration for their own creations.
