Spring is on it’s way! I hope you have all had a good weekend.
There was a mix up last week with the physical worksheets and spelling books for remote learning. Only completed work was to be returned to school rather than all work including incomplete worksheets and spelling books.
You all have physical worksheets and/or spelling books in your trays at school along with an extra mental maths workbook to be collected for the remaining two weeks of remote learning.
If you have any questions or need to get in touch, please use Microsoft Teams or email me.
Well done to those of you who completed the Sumdog challenge but not everyone is completing the challenge despite having started it – in order to win the 250 coins, all questions must be answered. Thank you to those of you who pointed out the mistake in Tuesday’s grammar worksheet. I will be in school on Monday if anyone would like to drop of completed work. Next week we will have another government announcement with more information regarding remote learning so keep an eye out for that and I will update the class blog accordingly.
The RSPB have put together some materials to help you all become better bird watchers! Check out the Sit, Spot and Story resources for turning your back garden into a bird spotting paradise.
I have left some resources in your trays for collection anytime.
Emma Chittick has been in touch to let you all know about a Scratch task on making a digital postcard. Follow the links to tutorials and videos on creating your own Scratch Digi Postcard.
We have been studying another Pie Corbet story – Dragonory, similar to the 3 Billy Goats Gruff, it tells the tale of a plucky protagonist outwitting a grumpy Dragon.
These movie sets will be used as part of our stop animation depiction of the Dragonory Story.
