Snow in May! We explore dendrite formation.

Snowflakes are different because they fall at different speeds and the air is always changing temperature.  You can learn about snowflakes and how they are formed from the video clip on glow.  The snowflakes grow as little crystals reach out like arms called dendrites. We created our own dendrite patterns.  Aren’t snowflakes beautiful?
