Last week we were really excited to welcome our new teacher, Jonathan, for a visit to Fair Isle.\u00a0 Jonathan had a very long journey, with a ferry and 2 flights, all the way from Jura.\u00a0 Luckily the weather played ball and he was able to fly in and see Fair Isle at its best.\u00a0 Our new teacher loves the outdoors so we took him to explore some of our favourite places.<\/p>\n

Jonathan was very keen to get some dirt onto his new trainers and we were able to show him the best mud to squelch through on North Reava.<\/p>\n

Rockpooling and collecting bruk<\/em><\/p>\n

Jonathan spent the whole of Friday with us so that we could all get to know each other.\u00a0 We discovered that he is a Burnley fan and has a rescue cat called Tali who is coming to Fair Isle too.\u00a0 We are really looking forward to welcoming him back after the Easter Holidays.<\/p>\n
