There were a mixture of emotions today, some excited, some shy and some a bit anxious. However,\u00a0 they had a great morning and it was soon all smiles and lots of fun.<\/p>\n<p>When they came to class they all listened so well to the very familiar story of Jack and the magic beans- cutting skills and some fabulous sparkly paints to choose from.<\/li>\n<li>Making a beanstalk &#8211; vocabulary, cutting skills to create spiral leaves and posing for a photograph climbing up the beanstalk.<\/li>\n<li>Planting a Magic Bean in a pot to take home and look after,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id='gallery-2' class='gallery galleryid-13 gallery-columns-3 The children could tell me they need to water it and it needs lots of sun. The children demonstrated lovely manners and again followed instructions for the lunchtime routines really well.<\/p>\n<p>They all were really engaged, busy and happy. I can&#8217;t wait to see them again in August.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Transition 4 &#8211; meeting our buddies<\/h3>\n<p>This morning the children got to meet their buddies for next session. It was one of my favourite funny books about a Penguin who says nothing! They listened and joined in really well with the story. Practicing some counting, rhyme, word boundaries and syllables.<\/p>\n<p>They loved meeting Poppy the Parrot and her funny ways.
