Today we had the playdough mats out and used the playdough and the loose parts to make different emotions on the faces.\u00a0 We also practiced using our facial expressions to show different emotions – happy, sad, angry.\u00a0 \"\" \"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

We also had lots of fun in the gym hall for PE today.\u00a0 Last week the children requested the big mat out to jump on, so this week we set up the obstacle course.\u00a0 We practiced balancing, jumping with 2 feet, hopping, throwing and tiptoeing.<\/p>\n

In the afternoon we got very messy making some x-ray pictures to add to our body display. We had to glue our paper to make it all sticky and then used the flour to shake over our arms.\u00a0 We then looked at some x-ray pictures and talked about all the bones we could see in our fingers and arms, before using the straws to cut up and stick down on our pictures.<\/p>\n
