Chinese New Year<\/strong><\/p>\n

This week we have started learning about Chinese New Year.<\/p>\n

Today we made up some coloured rice for our sensory tray in colours that reminded us of Chinese New Year.\u00a0 \u00a0It felt very squishy as we mixed in all the paint and spread it out to dry in the trays.<\/p>\n

We also set up an art invitations in the porch and art table with some photos to inspire.\u00a0 Some of the children painted amazing pictures of the fireworks and dragons.\u00a0 One child was also inspire to draw a Japanese temple after looking at the photos.<\/p>\n

At the art table today we set out some coloured ink and the children had a great go at copying out some Chinese symbols.<\/p>\n
