of kindness"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When we created our Class Charter at the start of the year, the most important quality the children wanted to see in their classmates and staff, was kindness. \u00a0With this in mind, we set out to create a \u2018Ripples of Kindness\u2019 display in our school foyer so that others could be made aware of the importance of small acts of kindness too.<\/p>\n<p>We used oil pastels to create the \u2018ripple lines\u2019 that would be seen if a pebble was thrown in water. \u00a0Then, we experimented with water colour paints, using the \u2018wet on wet\u2019 technique. \u00a0It was so relaxing, watching the colours spread and mix, as we placed our wet brushes on the card.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-5397 on top of the wax!\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Time spent playing around with the paints, mixing colours and adding more or less water to our card, definitely paid off! kind acts we can do and the positive \u2018ripples\u2019 they can send to others in school, at home and in our community.<\/p>\n<p>Please stop and take a look when you visit school next
