{"id":3954,"date":"2023-09-14T20:02:56","date_gmt":"2023-09-14T20:02:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sh\/dunrossnessp56\/?p=3954"},"modified":"2023-09-14T20:02:56","modified_gmt":"2023-09-14T20:02:56","slug":"class-charter-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sh\/dunrossnessp56\/2023\/09\/14\/class-charter-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Class Charter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Over the past few weeks, P4\/5 have been working together to create our class charter. \u00a0We looked together at the Articles listed in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and picked out four that we felt were important for our class. \u00a0We chose Non Discrimination\u2026Be Ourselves, Be Respectful, Be Safe and Be Healthy.<\/p>\n<p>Our next job was to identify our responsible behaviours under each heading. \u00a0Once agreed, \u00a0we voted on a theme to display our charter and the most popular idea was a Rainforest theme!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3952\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sh\/public\/dunrossnessp56\/uploads\/sites\/1851\/2023\/09\/14193207\/DE9A3ADC-73E8-453C-9C38-24BD5B1D7041-300x198.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"198\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sh\/public\/dunrossnessp56\/uploads\/sites\/1851\/2023\/09\/14193207\/DE9A3ADC-73E8-453C-9C38-24BD5B1D7041-300x198.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sh\/public\/dunrossnessp56\/uploads\/sites\/1851\/2023\/09\/14193207\/DE9A3ADC-73E8-453C-9C38-24BD5B1D7041-1024x676.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sh\/public\/dunrossnessp56\/uploads\/sites\/1851\/2023\/09\/14193207\/DE9A3ADC-73E8-453C-9C38-24BD5B1D7041-768x507.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sh\/public\/dunrossnessp56\/uploads\/sites\/1851\/2023\/09\/14193207\/DE9A3ADC-73E8-453C-9C38-24BD5B1D7041.jpeg 1260w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It would be really great if you could spend time talking through the responsible behaviours we have decided on at home too.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Be Ourselves<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We understand that we all have similarities and we will respect our differences too.<\/li>\n<li>Be ourselves\u2026don\u2019t change being you for other people!<\/li>\n<li>Take interest in everyone and what they like to do.<\/li>\n<li>Include everyone!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Be Respectful<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be kind and fair to everyone.<\/li>\n<li>Listen to all ideas, even if different from your own.<\/li>\n<li>Talk in a polite way to everyone.<\/li>\n<li>Treat others how you would like to be treated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Be Healthy<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Keep our brains active and our ideas healthy.<\/li>\n<li>Let staff know how we are feeling.<\/li>\n<li>We will notice if our classmates are struggling and help.<\/li>\n<li>Be active!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Be Safe<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use equipment at school sensibly.<\/li>\n<li>Wear a seat belt on the bus.<\/li>\n<li>Follow all the school rules.<\/li>\n<li>Treat others with care.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Duty Bearers were also given a set of responsibilities too. \u00a0The children felt these were important to include.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Encourage us.<\/li>\n<li>Help us to sort out any problems we have.<\/li>\n<li>Help us in a small group if we find something tricky.<\/li>\n<li>Take us to new places and let us try fun activities indoors and outside.<\/li>\n<li>Just be yourselves!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<span id=\"post-ratings-3954\" class=\"post-ratings\" data-nonce=\"f49aa466cf\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"rating_3954_1\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sh\/dunrossnessp56\/wp-content\/plugins\/wp-postratings\/images\/heart\/rating_1_on.gif\" alt=\"1 Star\" title=\"1 Star\" onmouseover=\"current_rating(3954, 1, '1 Star');\" onmouseout=\"ratings_off(1, 0, 0);\" onclick=\"rate_post();\" onkeypress=\"rate_post();\" style=\"cursor: pointer;
