His small shapes fill his page and I like that he\u2019s left some of the background white.  This works particularly well on his face.  He\u2019s still used skin tones to create the colour of his face.\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon portrait'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sh\/dunrossnessp56\/2022\/09\/03\/chuck-close-portraits\/fe219aa0-6db7-4212-8c10-7bd28b77a586\/'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sh\/public\/dunrossnessp56\/uploads\/sites\/1851\/2022\/09\/03103210\/FE219AA0-6DB7-4212-8C10-7BD28B77A586-150x150.jpeg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"\" aria-describedby=\"gallery-1-3430\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<figcaption class='wp-caption-text gallery-caption' id='gallery-1-3430'>\n\t\t\t\tInnes chose a bright background and his small shapes work really well on this!  I really like the way he\u2019s captured his hair line\u2026very effective! He chose the bigger squares, but within each one, he drew something special to him.
