border: 0px;\" \/> (<strong>1<\/strong> votes, average: <strong>1.00<\/strong> out of 1)<br \/><span class=\"post-ratings-text\" id=\"ratings_3371_text\"><\/span><\/span><span id=\"post-ratings-3371-loading\" class=\"post-ratings-loading\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sh\/dunrossnessp56\/wp-content\/plugins\/wp-postratings\/images\/loading.gif\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" class=\"post-ratings-image\" \/>Loading...<\/span>\n<p>It has been a busy scientific term in P4\/5\/6!\u00a0 Over the past few weeks we have explored all aspects of Light.\u00a0 We learned about shadows, reflections and how light can bend when it travels through a different medium.<\/p>\n<p>We had fun with a periscope, looking around the room for a secret message being held up on a whiteboard.\u00a0 This was made possible with the mirrors reflecting the light.<\/p>\n<p>Our camera obscuras showed us how light is reflected into our eyes.\u00a0 This appears as an upside down image.\u00a0 Our brain flips this around so that it makes sense to us.\u00a0 But in this camera, it is projected upside down on to the tracing paper screen.\u00a0 One pupil decided to do some handstands so that she would be seen the &#8220;right way up&#8221;
