What a busy week we have had.
I would like to congratulate all our musicians who took part in this year’s Music Festival. I was lucky enough to see some of the performances and was proud and delighted to see so many confident and talented musicians on stage. The P5/6 Choir have had the honour of being asked back to play at the Gala Concert. Well done! Thanks to our music teachers and instructors for all their hard work and dedication.
I hope to organise an event next term where we can share all the pieces that were performed.
Happy SMUHA day everyone!
Good luck to our Junior Jarl Sam and to the SMUHA Jarl Scott Lobban and his squad! Looking forward to seeing you later on.
Wow! What a way to spend a Wednesday afternoon. All classes from P1-7 had the chance to share their drumming skills with friends and family.
All the classes had prepared a really impressive piece to share.
The dancers in P5/6 deserve a special mention – a SMUHA squad of the future!
P6/7 had worked really hard to master their piece with 3 different bass drum rhythms!
Thanks to Joy Duncan for all her hard work, thanks to friends and family for coming and a special thank you to all our pupils for entertaining us all so well!
We launched our Readathon today. The main aim of this project is to promote enjoyment of reading. We hope that for the next 3 weeks all our pupils develop good reading habits which will continue after the readathon is over.
Welcome to Dunrossness Primary School Blog.
We are very new to blogging but look forward to sharing our learning, news and events with you.
