Primary 6 and 7 had an action packed day yesterday at Sandwick JHS. For weeks the classes have been learning the songs for Fever and today we had just a short time in the morning to add actions to our singing parts and then have a quick dress rehearsal after lunch, followed by the performance.
The children from all three south mainland schools put on brilliant performances, with lots of individual pieces, the audience were very impressed.
Emma in P7 said ‘It was fun, especially when we got into our costumes, it made it seem even better.’ John Magnus P6, explained’It was a really good performance, especially the way we moved across the stage in our lines.’
A big thank you goes out to all the staff who have worked with the bairns to practise their songs and to the Scottish Opera company, who always work miracles in the short time that they are with the schools.
