Early Years 2025-26 Term 4 Week 3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Play, Talk, Read Pathways (Monday)<\/p>\n<p>We were delighted to welcome the Play Talk Read initiative back to Cunningsburgh.\u00a0 The bairns listened to a story called Balloon&#8217;s Big Adventure and then engaged in balloon activities and more.\u00a0 Thank you to all the families that were able to make it along.\u00a0 The bairns polycrub.\u00a0 This week the bairns decorated sunflower pots to plant their own seeds.\u00a0 The dug trenches and planted peas and radishes.\u00a0 To plant tatties, the bairns broke up the soil, dug trenches, planted seeds, covered them and made ridges.\u00a0 The bairns also fed the hens and took some eggs back to nursery for the Honesty Cupboard.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-4' class='gallery Mareel and meet up with some more nursery friends.\u00a0 We found a good spot near the stage and waited for the band.\u00a0 It wasn&#8217;t long before Canadian band Jake Vaadeland<span data-sfc-root=\"c\" data-wiz-uids=\"g7GYDc_k\" data-sfc-cb=\"\" data-copy-service-computed-style=\"font-family: &quot;Google Sans&quot;, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 400; margin: 0px; text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 0px rgb(230, 232, 240);\"> and the Sturgeon River Boys took to the stage.\u00a0 They were very lively and played folk festival versions of Old Macdonald and The Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly.\u00a0 The bairns were up dancing from the first song.\u00a0 The adults taking the photos were dancing too so they might be a little blurry!\u00a0 &#8220;It was so
