Blue Morpheo Butterflies

P6/7 have been carefully drawing Blue Morpheo butterflies and designing a tropical leaf background. The focus skills they are learning are using paint to mix colour tones and contrasts. They are in charge of their choice of materials. For example which paint colours to use and which brushes to use. After this they are researching an animal if their choice to draw and then make a drawing on clay of an animal.
Next week I will post the finished works on display.

RSPB Spiggie Bird Hide

  1. P5/6/7 (2022) have their bird drawings included in this mural made by Gilly B and for the new new RSPB bird hide at Spiggie. Artmachine carried out the graphic art work. It is well worth a visit. We are so happy to be part of a schools art project organised by the RSPB.
