Primary 3\/4 Weekly Round-Up \ud83c\udf1f<\/h2>\n

What a busy and exciting week it has been in Primary 3\/4! The children have been working hard, having fun, and building our class community together. Here\u2019s a little snapshot of what we\u2019ve been up to:<\/p>\n

\u270f\ufe0f Literacy & Spelling<\/h3>\n

We\u2019ve been tackling some tricky words this week, practising them in different ways to help us remember spellings. Homework booklets have also gone home, giving everyone a chance to keep practising at home.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udd22 Maths<\/h3>\n

In maths, we\u2019ve been focusing on place value<\/strong>. The children played some fun games to consolidate their understanding, helping them to see how numbers are made up of tens and ones. We also continued our exploration of time<\/strong> with a time scavenger hunt<\/em> \u2013 a great way to spot clocks in action around us and test our knowledge.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udf31 Our Topic \u2013 Plants<\/h3>\n

We introduced our new topic all about plants<\/strong>. This week we explored leaves<\/strong> in playful and hands-on ways: looking closely with magnifying glasses, comparing their shapes and textures, and even using them to make magical \u201cpotions.\u201d The children loved investigating and discovering just how interesting leaves can be! We were also\u00a0 learning about roots and have experimented with some planting.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udc96 Health & Wellbeing<\/h3>\n

We\u2019ve been talking about kindness and respect<\/strong> as we start to build our class family. The children shared thoughtful ideas about how we can take care of one another and make our classroom a happy, welcoming place for everyone.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a fantastic week full of curiosity, teamwork, and creativity. We\u2019re really looking forward to seeing where our learning takes us next! \ud83c\udf1f<\/p>\n
