Welcome to the last blog for our P5\/6\/7 class this year.<\/p>\n

Kindness Challenge.<\/strong> Mrs A challenged us to do ‘kind things’ this term whether that was giving someone a compliment, helping out a classmate or holding open a door. Big or small, acts of kindness bring joy and smiles to all. Megan took this challenge one step further and got everyone peerie seals and made and wrote kind messages to everyone in the class. A very big thank you to Megan from everyone\ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n

Leavers Assembly<\/strong>. On Tuesday, we celebrated the P7 leavers with a very fun assembly. P7 made a fantastic entrance which was followed by several fantastic musical performances.\u00a0 P5\/6 planned a quiz for their classmates and also read a poem written by Mrs A. P7 then performed their original song ‘We’re all ready for secondary’ which was absolutely brilliant! We wish all the P7 leavers the best as they move onto S1.<\/p>\n

Duck Race\ud83e\udd86<\/strong>\u00a0When the current P6\/7 were in P1\/2, Miss Hunter took the class to the burn for a duck race. So this week, we planned to take the class again along with P1\/2. It was a beautifully sunny morning and we all enjoyed catching the ducks, seeing all the different animals on our walk and explore the shore line.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

Memory Graffiti posters<\/strong>. As an end of year reflection, we worked in class groups to create graffiti posters showing all our memories of P5, P6 or P7.<\/p>\n

Happy Birthday everyone<\/strong>! One thing someone suggested this term was that it would be good if everyone had the chance to have their birthday celebrated at school. So Mrs. A planned a surprise birthday treat for us all where we had cake and sang happy birthday.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\"\"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

End of term picnic<\/strong>. For our last lunch of the term, we had a whole school picnic with lots of yummy food. A few weeks ago, the P7s asked Sam and Val to make wedges as they are “the best”. Well as an end of term treat, the P7s all got a bowl of wedges\u00a0 as well as customised cupcakes.<\/p>\n
