Hello, my name is Magnus and this week has been very busy in P5\/6\/7.<\/p>\n

Wellness, connection and support<\/strong>. This week we have had different guest speakers in linked to our unit on wellness, connection and support. On Monday, we had Freya’s mum Kate, who is a dietician. She was telling us about the different food groups and what we should eat and eat less of. On Wednesday, we had people in to talk about digital wellbeing and living a balanced life. Both visitors were very interesting.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\" \"\" \"\"\"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\"<\/strong><\/p>\n

Writing – Wild Isles.<\/strong> We started a block of writing all about note taking. We had to watch ‘Wild Isles’ and take notes about the Killer Whale, Badger and Dormouse. We then used our notes to make posters. Here are some of our posters. They are all great!<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

The Drive to Move<\/strong>. On Thursday, we were learning about magnetism and static electricity. First, we had to make mazes and try to move a ball through them by using magnetism. Then we did two experiments to see if we could use static electiricy to move things without touching them. We had to do ‘air bending’ and move paper and ‘water bending’ and move a stream of water.<\/p>\n

SMUHA .<\/strong> We had a super morning celebrating SMUHA. We also created Viking oil pastel pictures with Mrs A.<\/p>\n
