This week we have been shadow hunting.\u00a0 The learners should be able to explain how light moves, where shadows come from and why shadows can be different sizes.\u00a0 We also made shadow artwork.<\/p>\n

In maths we have been doubling numbers.\u00a0 This is the process we use.\u00a0 The idea is that learners will learn the process and should not have to write it down.<\/p>\n

The green maths group have also been learning about the ‘bus stop’ addition method and the partitioning method.\u00a0 Learners will then be able to choose the one that works best for them.<\/p>\n
